My Journey to becoming free from Anxiety. Spoiler....It’s not what you might think!

When I was struggling with Anxiety, I didn’t understand that both my mind (Amygdala) and body (Nervous system) expected & remembered the worst to happen.

I was disassociated from my body and didn’t know how to process my thoughts and emotions, I had buried them instead.

A recipe for disaster.

I had no tools to understand what was going on and had to scramble to understand what my mind and body were telling me.

As I was suffering from 2 hour panic attacks and severe anxiety, I was willing to spend a lot of time understanding how to heal.


What followed was a deep dive inwards. Unwinding my trauma, subconscious thought patterns, conditioning and reconnecting with my body & emotions.

Helping my nervous system feel safe again was huge.

Now, whilst I may feel anxiety at times, I have the tools to process it and let it go.

It no longer scares me. This is the Key.

I don’t monitor anxiety or check in with my pulse or fear. I am at ease with whatever comes up.
